A small village surrounded by mountains.
Erying lives a solitary existence in this village.
The camera records her simple life and rich stories.
Time is merciless. It takes lives away from the land and mountains. Imperceptibly.
Time is merciful. It nourishes the memories of the land and mountains. Resplendently.

Process
Original idea
A documentary integrating myth, ghost, country customs and personal experience based in Wanshan.
Some interview had been shot at the end of 2019.
Some drone shooting around the Wanshan village had been done by the same time.
Wanshan Winter Landscape
In May, I returned to Wanshan to shoot again.
This time, my grandma become the protagonist.
